So the Chief Whip of the government Andrew Mitchell has resigned most likely before he is sacked by David Cameron for having a argument with a police officer a good few weeks ago including calling the officer a ‘pleb’ which I thought was just a playground insult. The main issue of this was that the chief whips role is to ‘whip’ the party to go along with what the Prime minister wants. The problem is that he would not be taken seriously when he shows his authority. It was the best decision to resign instead of being sacked by Cameron.
