So the Scots have got their referendum on independence scheduled for 2015. This is what the Scottish National Party have wanted since Alex Salmond became head of the Scottish Parliament. They believe that they can survive economically without the rest of Britain let alone make our Union Jack look a bit odd. If you are Scottish I’d like to hear your opinion. On a positive note I think the fact that they are letting 16 and 17 year olds is a good thing as it is their future being independent or not. What do you think the outcome will be?

You could start by getting your facts right. The independence referendum is scheduled for the autumn of 2014 NOT 2015. An independence referendum has been SNP policy since 1999 BEFORE Alex Salmond became First Minister. Personally I hope that there will be large YES vote in that referendum. Something that I have learnt over many years as a member of the SNP is that the only opinion poll that really matters is the one on the day of the vote.
